The AMA Compact Ecofill is an energy-efficient and user-friendly top-loading autoclave that reduces both water and power consumption. By removing the BSL3/CL3 functionality from the Classic model, Astell has integrated the Ecofill system, delivering faster cycle times and minimizing the need for manual water refilling.

Unlike the Classic model, which retains water in the sterilization chamber, the Ecofill system stores it in an external reservoir. Water is used only when needed and returned to the reservoir after sterilization. This significantly reduces water consumption—allowing up to 15 cycles before refilling, cutting maintenance work by 93%.
