System 1 is best for high throughput with a 12-place rotor and TÜV-certified bioseal. System 2 offers maximum flexibility with sample volumes from 1–8 ml and up to 8 sediments per slide. System 3 is a bestseller that combines the simple handling of System 1 with the flexibility of System 2, offering three sediment sizes.

The Cyto systems are compatible with the ROTOFIX 32 A, UNIVERSAL 320/320 R, ROTINA 380/380 R, ROTINA 420/420 R, ROTANTA 460/460 R and ROTIXA 500 RS. System 2 and 3 can often be used without changing the rotor.

Yes, both single-use (disposable) and reusable, autoclavable cyto chambers are available. Single-use chambers are recommended to minimise the risk of contamination, while reusable chambers are a cost-saving alternative where appropriate.

Yes, all three systems can be used with or without filter cards, depending on the application and whether dry or wet cell sediments are required. The brown filter card is recommended for scarce samples such as cerebrospinal fluid (CSF).
