The main difference is speed. The EBA 200 has a maximum speed of 6,000 RPM (max. RCF 3,461), while the EBA 200 S runs up to 8,000 RPM (max. RCF 6,153). The EBA 200 S can deliver PPP results in under 3 minutes thanks to the higher speed.

Yes, both models come with an 8-place fixed-angle rotor (33°) that holds tubes up to 15 ml. The rotor is included in the price.

The centrifuge is compatible with a wide range of tube types, including paediatric microlitre tubes (0.5–2 ml), standard laboratory tubes (4–15 ml) as well as blood collection and urine tubes in various sizes (1.1–15 ml).

The EBA 200 and EBA 200 S are IVDR-certified in accordance with EU Regulation 2017/746 and therefore meet the requirements for medical laboratory equipment in the EU.
